Children are certified picky eaters. They will eat anything and everything as long as it is not a vegetable. However, the same vegetable is suddenly a friend when we have a pizza night. I know! I don’t get it either. What I did figure out, however, are some simple, easy recipes that will always get your kids to lick the plate clean (no exaggeration there!). The trick is to sneak in as many nutrients and protein as possible in wraps, burgers, pastas, and pizzas. I have rounded up my top 9 kid-friendly recipes that are tried, tested, and approved.

Mediterranean Pizza

The best way to get your kids to eat some veggies is to use them as pizza toppings. Sun-dried tomatoes, red onions, bell peppers, olives – as many veggie toppings as you want, you add them, the kids will eat them. The Mediterranean pizza is fully vegetarian, so it is a good dinner option when you’re trying to cut back on meat. Full Recipe: Mediterranean Pizza
Chicken Salad Wrap

Get your child to eat a salad, and they will run away from it like a plague. But – if you wrap it in a tortilla and drizzle some of their favorite sauce on it – they will gobble it up in a matter of minutes. The crunch, the flavors, the colors – all are the winning factors here. Full Recipe: Chicken Salad Wrap
Chicken Fajita Quesadilla

Anything that is cheesy and tortilla-based is instantly considered kid-approved. And when that thing is a cheesy, savory quesadilla, it becomes a dinnertime favorite. Full Recipe: Chicken Fajita Quesadilla
