Avocado Strawberry Smootihie

This cold, creamy and satisfying avocado strawberry smoothie naturally sweetened without bananas, and makes a delicious healthy breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup milk
  • cup orange juice
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 cup frozen sliced strawberries*
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Add ingredients to the blender in the order listed and blend until smooth and creamy, 30-60 seconds.

Notes

*Note: You can use whole frozen strawberries instead of sliced, but your blender may have a harder time processing them. Letting them thaw for a few minutes before using will help. You can also use fresh strawberries instead of frozen, but your smoothie will be less cold. A cup of ice may be added in this case.
