Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Maple Syrup


sweet potatoes unsalted butter pure maple syrup red pepper flakes salt & pepper  fresh parsley

Brown your butter in a light colored saucepan. Heat it over medium heat and make sure it doesn't burn!

Take it off the heat and add some red pepper flakes and maple syrup and whisk it.

Add half of the brown butter mix to the chopped sweet potatoes, and season with salt and pepper.

Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer and put it in the oven to roast.

Toss the sweet potatoes halfway through the roasting with a spatula.

Once they're done roasting, add in the remaining brown butter mixture and toass.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve!
