Want to learn how to make this scrumptious Orange Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting?
Combine the milk and orange juice in a measuring cup.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
In a stand mixer, cream together the butter, oil, and sugar for 3 to 4 minutes.
Now add the eggs, egg yolk, vanilla and orange zest to the batter and beat until well combined
Now alternate adding the flour mixture and milk/OJ mixture, in 3 instalments, & beat until combined (don't overbeat!)
Divide the batter evenly between two prepared cake pans and pop it in the oven to bake.
For the frosting, mix butter, cream cheese, vanilla extract, orange zest & icing sugar.
For the fun part! Frost one cake layer & place the second layer upside down on top. Frost the top & sides of the cake.
