Homemade Pie Crust

Ingredient Notes

all-purpose flour koseher salt unsalted butter ice water

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt till combined.

Now add the butter with a pastry blender or your hands.

Mix it in till it reaches a crumbly consistency.

Now add in the ice cold water, a couple of tablespoons at a time.

Mix it with a wooden spoon until it just starts to come together.

Now shape the pie dough into a ball.

Divide the dough into half and  shape into smooth disks after wrapping in plastic wrap.

Chill the pie crust for an hour in the fridge before using it! It also freezes really well.
