Pineapple Teriyaki Sauce


low-sodium soy sauce pineapple juice brown sugar rice vinegar sesame oil fresh ginger garlic cloves red pepper flakes cold water cornstarch

In a small saucepan, mix together soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and red pepper.

Let it come to a boil and then leave it to simmer. While the mixture simmers, mix together your cornstarch and water.

Whisk in the cornstarch slurry and let the sauce thicken up.

Now take the pot off the heat and let it cool. You're left with the most amazing pineapple teriyaki sauce!
